Advantages of an On-Staff Notary
Does your private process server have an on-staff notary? If not, you may not be getting the level of customer service that you deserve. To get your case moving forward, you have to have those legal papers served to the parties, and you have to have an affidavit of service filed with the courts. This requires a notary. Legal offices may also benefit from our notary services. Here are some of the advantages to having a notary on our staff.

A legal disability could be an ongoing criminal case, criminal charges on your police record, or protection orders, among others. Continue reading

What Does Social Media Have to Do with Serving Papers?
Serving papers can be quite a challenge, even for professional and experienced process servers. Court papers generally list the last known address of the party, which may not be accurate, and often this is the only information that process servers receive to locate an individual.
However, people can be served at home, work, or many other places. Also, some addresses are not accurate, either because the person moved or because they are intentionally avoiding service. When that happens, it becomes necessary for the process server to do some investigation. Continue reading
